Advent

Every year, the Mayrhofner Advent invites visitors to soak up the joyous atmosphere between the wooden huts and sample regional delicacies. There are also cheerful festive markets in Schwaz, Hall and Innsbruck.

Skiing & Ski School
The Almhof is the perfect base for skiing and snowboarding. Beginners, advanced skiers, small children, youngsters, adults – there is something for everyone. Almi’s ski school offers courses for all ages and ability levels. Put on your skis and hit the slopes!

Tobogganing
Tobogganing is the quintessential winter experience and a fantastic outdoor winter pursuit for young and old. Directly at the hotel, you can even sled uphill: Let the drag lift pull you up the slope and repeat the thrill of the ride as often as you like. Complimentary toboggans are available. The Zillertal’s longest toboggan run in Gerlosstein is 7 km long and floodlit. Enjoy an exhilarating ride and make sure to stop by one of the rustic mountain huts.

Cross-country Skiing
It’s no wonder that cross-country skiing has become increasingly popular in the past few years. Nordic skiing is an excellent full-body workout while spending time outdoors in nature. The Zillertal offers a variety of trails groomed for classic and skating skiing.

Winter Hiking
Especially with young children, even short walks through the snowy landscape can feel refreshing.
